Okay, I hate to rat out my pop (and kind of hope he doesn’t see this), but here I go anyways. He recently hit 100,000 miles on his car. In preparation for this momentous event, he kept a camera in the passenger seat for when the odometer clicked the magic number. This alone seems geeky enough, but there is a bit more. At approximately 99,995 miles, he figured his next trip out would do it. This was a leisurely run to the local Best Buy. On the way, he realized he was going to overshoot so he pulled into a parking lot (approximately a mile from Best Buy) and drove out the last few hundred yards (yes, around the parking lot) and then snapped the priceless photo. He’s the most amazing man I know (smartester) and I love him to death… but this is hilarious! Nice work dad. You’re a geek of the week!
