Driving Tips

May 9, 2005

Seems like there’s a pandemic of terrible drivers out there recently. Here are some “tips” that might be helpful:

1-At a red light, your turn signal will still work. Feel free to put on that left turn blinker before the light changes to green.

2-When merging onto Hwy 100 (going north), it’s not the best thing to come to a complete stop. I might be wrong, but it’s much harder to merge onto 65 mph traffic when you’re at a dead stop.

3-When the speed limit on the HIGHWAY is 55 mph, it doesn’t mean that you should go 35 mph. There’s a special place for driving 35 mph. It’s called the city STREETS.

4-If you find it necessary to come to a complete stop in order to chat with friends, look at the flowers, read a sign, and the like; why not try to use that nifty space closer to the curb? Moving the steering wheel a few inches to the right is actually pretty easy. Go ahead, give it a try.

Lastly, remember that good driving is SEXY. Please, please work on your sexy.
