Obviously a hypothetical case, but I hate it when you're sitting at work and "ping"... your glasses break (probably from taking too many hypothetical footballs in the face). Then, you have to drive home to get your contacts with only one good eye (and, hypothetically speaking, you might not be that great a driver with two good eyes). You have to do a combination of squinting, blinking, and swerving around blurry "shapes". After all that, you still need to go out and buy new glasses... which is a nightmare because of all the ridicule you took from an older, slightly-oversized (yet quite trendy for the times) pair you had a dozen years back. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

You would think that when you bought a pair of glasses, they'd last longer than a miniscule six years (and 20 sports leagues). - FourEyes
