Well, we started with four of us missing our first serve, but still, surprisingly enough, pulled out a victory in game one (our opponents missed a number of serves too). Took game two pretty clean too. We dropped game three as we got a bit ugly, but overall, not too bad to kick off the rust. Then, even unsponored, we got a great deal on our broken bone wings from Old Chicago. Now, that's some customer service and loyalty! Boys washed it down with a giant cookie and ice cream to finish off the night. Big night for Nat on Friday. Congrats! Fun weekend for Bic and the gals out East. Have a blast!

Another familiar foe. Here's what I remember. We handled them pretty well in the first two games and couldn't close in the third. Also, the gym was hot as all heck and I was sweating like crazy. Great playing out of our super sub Trina.

Total Chaos
This recap is approximately one week late. Course, nobody noticed cause nobody cares anymore. Ho hum. We won two out of three, just like we've done every week. We could have and probably should have won all three, just like all the other weeks. Hopefully three tonight! [CORRECTION FROM BIC. WE WON ALL THREE THIS WEEK]

Again, recap is a week late. Won the first one pretty handily. Team meltdown in game two and lost ugly. Back in form for a game three win. Thanks to Tim for subbing!

That was a fun night of volleyball. Even though we lost the first two (with the second game being quite a blowout), we stuck with a strong opponents to eek out a 25-23 win for game three. One of our highest energy, best victories in quite some time, if you ask me. I'm sure our opponents were kind of suprised to drop one too. Couple hiccups here and there, but overall we played really well and scrappy against a very skilled team. Yea! Now, don't forget to finish your milk so you can be strong like Uncle Keith and Dad.

Serve It Up
Not much to report. We played a team from the lower bracket. Games went pretty quick with not too much concern for a loss. Course, with the easier competition...everyone was a hitter...and a setter. Nice swings ladies! Fun to play around.

Darn those Angry Birds! They must have been mad at us for eating all those chicken wings. Thank goodness for that hot fudge! Fun night of volleyball. We ended-up winning pretty big most games with good rallies and really scrappy play. Hey, that's seven games in a row! Super big props to super sub Wendy and her entourage of fans! Good luck the rest of the season. See you in 2011!

(from Craig) We won all 3. The other squad played with only 2 guys and they weren’t that great, despite one of them blocking one of my best hits – straight down. However they had one of the best females we have seen, and she could rip it. We nearly lost the third game 26-24. Yikes!

Sudden Impact
(from Craig) We played terrible the first game, and lost to short green shorts team. However, he must have been hurt, as he acquired a sub that was better than him. We won the next 2 games and played really scrappy. Keith was a digging machine. Not a lot of spikes out of us, but one out of Keith that went straight down (set from our opponents).

Tonight was weird mix of fun, intimidation, frustration and just being a bit pissed off. We played the best team in the league and just didn't bring our A-game. It's nice to have powerful rallies, but stinks when you know you can play better...even if a bit outmatched. Oh well...that's bonus volleyball for you. End to another season. See you in 2011...or hopefully at pickup soon!
