Geeks on the Web Superstar Performers... if you've got a nomination, e-mail me and we'll post it here

June 10, 2009 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball (from Dan)
Superstar Performer…they call him Keith. Diving catch down the first base line. Then on another play, hammy blew out. Stayed in the game. Hit a grounder and limped, struggled and dove headfirst to first base to reach safely. Simply inspirational. And he scanned his own X-ray when he got home.

July 27, 2008 - Brookview Par 3 Golf Course - Hole 6 (133 Yards)
It went straight as an arrow, rolled on the green a bit and then disappeared into the hole. We then proceeded to wake-up the entire course with our celebrating. Yup, you heard correctly. Keith pulled out his 8 Iron and hit a hole in one. Sweet!

February 13, 2008 - EPZ Broomball (year-end tournament)
(from Craig) Stepping up for the playoffs, Billy played under control and snapped off some excellent shots. Throughout the night he was on target and sparked the offense with two long blasts that left the goalie wondering where they came from. But the play of the day was on a feed from Dan for the opening goal in game two. Dan scooped it from the left wing to a wide open Bill on the right front crease. Bill grabbed the ball out of air, laid it down for a slap shot and greased the goalie. This set the table for what was an excellent win to get us into the semifinals!

April 21, 2007 - Earth Day Half-Marathon
Big props to the Sartell High School Class of '92 and friends (Jeff, Dave, Craig, Shon, Sean, Rachel, Pat, Pat, Shelly, Mark, Michelle) who completed the St. Cloud Earth Day Half-Marathon despite a bit of rain, some blisters, a cramp here or there, and many bathroom stops. Extra kudos to Jeffy who brought the team home to finish the race.

April 21, 2007 - Tuckerman Inferno
Ian and his dad competed in the Tuckerman Inferno with each completing the cycling leg of a multi-event race that involved running, white-water kayaking, cycling, hiking and skiing down the headwall of Tuckerman Ravine on Mount Washington. All the while, looking spectacular in their spandex.

September 28, 2006 - Plowe Softball
After a couple inning full of errors and base running gaffes, we were all getting a bit crabby. No worries. In the bottom of the seventh inning, with the tying run on second base, our captain Craig brought a smile back to everyone's face with a BOMB over the left center field fence for a walk off homerun. Key-Lutch! And, pretty darn fun.

September 25, 2006 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball
Not only did Caven swallow up every ball hit his way in leading our team to one of our best defensive performances of the night (game 1), but he proved (i.e. not just talk) that he's the fastest guy on the team, and also hit for the only 1.000 night of the season (6 for 6 with a sac). Yeah, he's good.

August 14, 2006 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball
Grant, the deceptively third fastest guy on the team, not only leads the team in batting average, but registered two fly outs (not bad, considering his last one was probably three seasons ago). He also, contrary to the belief of some, does not look thick.

August 1, 2006 - Boy's Night Out in 763 (aka Heidi's Sewing Night)
JC and I watched on as Craig and Sammy battled it out at the bowling lanes in the third and final (free) game of the night. Back and forth... spares and strikes... jibber and jabber. Unnoticed by the crew though was Keith's silent and deadly rolls as he quietly put forth the most amazing bowling comeback in my sparse bowling memory. He even overcame ultra-consistent Sammy's 28 pin 10th frame to beat him by three with a score of 165 (to be fair, Craig did have a 166 in game two). Granted, I don't have much bowling in my recall, but that's about as good as I've seen... and definitely earned that kid both some sirloin AND a rack of ribs!

June 21, 2006 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball
Big props to Oh Captain My Captain tonight as Craig did his best to get and keep the team fired-up. Started the day with the fiery e-mail that kept our hands-up, heads down, and throws in the numbers. Then he hit the game with a few bombs (including three triples in his first four at bats), steamroller running on the bases, and played the left field foul fence fearlessly as our opponents continued to rope the line. Additional props to Caven who had some sweet e-mail prose of his own and batted .714 on the night.

May 10, 2006 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball
With Tschak dislocating a finger, the Hoggers had to go to three outfielders against a team that was hitting it all over the park! Jeff should big-time hustle in right as half of our opponent's lineup were lefties. Craig played the deep wall shots to perfection. And, D showed some old-school range tracking down everything in his sight. The infield (minus a confused second baseman) also pulled off one of our sweetest double plays ever with Dan scooping it up at third, checking the runner at second (that really works?) and firing to first for the out. Keith then fired it back across the diamond to Caven (who outran the baserunner to third) for the double. Sweet!

February 8, 2006 - EPZ Broomball
Shot after shot after shot. Front side, backhand, one-armed... he had it all. Billy brought some big game scoring our first two goals in regulation of our semifinal playoff game (and it seems to me that those goals were probably pretty important considering we went into overtime). Course, you know how competitive Stephy is! She got her two as well. The first goal in overtime was the game winner and her second blast (nervous?) literally ended the game (and I don't like to use the word "literally" that often). Within a brilliant team effort, these two were awesome (not to mention, everywhere)! Well done... I hope you saved some for the finals! Big props too to all those that helped scrounge for subs!

January 24, 2006 - 612! Volleyball
(from Craig and his monkey arm) I personally would like to nominate Keith's performance for Superstar on Geeks. The first game his serve was unreturnable, the second game he worked out the kinks and he poured it on in the third. Keith dug continuous spikes, created confusion at the net with his block, and put the game away with his front row attack. Well done and keep it up! (Bic adds that Keithy was AWESOME last night - even when she wasn't so "helpful" up front). A second head nod goes to Trina for her ability to put her teammates ahead of the team that hasn't found how to work as a team (T-pups). We said that we could have played with four, but as you saw we needed everyone including Team ER (aka Team Schlichting). Plus, her aggression fits this team to a tee. I love it. (Bic adds that she agrees and loves Trina's bite). Thanks to Pat and Bic for all of the personality of the squad, and for the ladies finding yet another player on the opposite team to dislike. Great Job! (from Trina) I'd like to add that Bic's sets were RIGHT ON last night. She was amazing! And those digs -- hats off to her! I was so THRILLED that we stuffed the two games in their face! That damn bitch woman -- I think she thought she played for the Women's Olympic VB Team. (from Keith) I always have a blast playing with you guys. Thanks Craig for the nomination, but I think the whole team deserves it. Craig was playing like a crafty veteran. Bic was digging everything out of the net. Trina had a fire inside that I have never seen before and I liked it. Plus, she was hitting the ball well. Steph helped me out by setting some sweet sets when I was passing shitty and was a force at the net. Of course there is Pat, who flies around the court and is always in the right spot.

February 9, 2005 - Evil Petting Zoo Broomball
Ian Gilby has been our Elite and Impact Minnesota Broomball Superstar Performer for the past thirteen years (1993-2005). Who could forget the bald spot, Ben from our introductory Fourth Davis team, purple pants, IM Final losses, the Great One, Broomball Czars, a life-defining senior year upset IM championship victory (and a bag of t-shirts), headlight lit nights with our first shoes, Minneapolis Park and Rec., CHASKA!, Buzz, St. Paul Winter Carnival Tournaments, Kenny No Step, Drunk Firemen (Cooper), disco year-end banquets, ULTRA, the use of “Evil Petting Zoo” well beyond its hip pop culture reference, sleepless nights with broomball dreams and that amazing tournament run to Parade? Thanks for all the hours on the ice, the scrounging to make sure we had a team, most of our goals scored, the complete avoidance of the goalie position, the leadership, the camaraderie, the friendship, the fun and the laughs. Without you, this team doesn’t even happen. It has truly been an incredible run. THANK YOU. Start booking your flights and duct taping your shoes because we expect to see you the last week of every January for a marathon week (two weekends) of broomball. Perhaps you’ll even earn another Superstar award.

November 4, 2004 - FBT Fall Co-Rec Touch Football
I heard some great stuff in the two games the led F.B.T. to an upset league championship including pinpoint passing and shutdown coverage from Craig, a game ending pick from Steph, an amazing dive from Bic, unbelievable reach back grabs by Salty, clutch first-down catching from Billy and circus catches and a game winning TD grab by Pam (game one MVP!)... but it appears one kid (Da Kid) stood taller than all the rest. In the rich Bias fashion that Steph set in our championship run two autumns ago, Keith had his breakout game at the perfect time. Diving conversions, four touchdowns, three interceptions... single game numbers we haven't seen since the 1900s. Well done my boy... we may have been waiting... and you definitely delivered!

September 23, 2004 - FBT Fall Co-Rec Touch Football
Billy O. (for instant offense… not to be confused with Billy D.) was hot as the salsa at Pepitos (and definitely hotter than Julia Stiles). Someone had to step-up and fill the large (suddenly domesticated) shoes of our regular QB, and Bill was the man for the job throwing TDs on five consecutive drives (thank the time honored one-week tradition of Rock-Paper-Scissor). Deep balls, touch passes, squirmy runs and the outs… oh the outs. He had it all!

July 14, 2004 - Hoggsbreath Seeds
Who is this kid? Jeffy changes his stance, moves behind the plate in the field and gets on base nine times including going eight for eight with a double (first 1.000 night of the season). He even was stretching out some extra bases while scooting around the diamond. Opposing right fielders beware
! This kid's pushing .600!

May 26, 2004 - Hoggsbreath Seeds
Let's get it started for the boys of summer! Two boys skipped the pre-Hogger festivities and subsequent razzing for a so-called lack of power. Shame on us, because those two showed us beer guzzlers a thing (or two). Till came out and hit his first dinger in memory, and then went and hit a second dinger (finished the night 8 for 9). Not to be outdone, Jeffy cranked his first roundtripper (he says since Little League) over the center field wall. Sweet! (more from Craig) WITH SOLID PITCHING IN CHECK, TILLY PUT AN EXCLAMATION ON THE QUESTION "HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN TILL HIT A HOMERUN?" TOOL TIME HAD TWO TATORS ON THE NIGHT ALONG WITH MANY SOLID SHOTS UP THE GUT.

March 18-22, 2004 - March Madness!
Mr. Belvedere... eat your heart out! Samson stepped-up big time and made sure O.C.'s head didn't explode and Sensi didn't get too finicky by cooking and feeding (and dare I say, caring for?) the boys throughout (Stephy would be so proud)! He also dominated Rolling Roller Derby, vehemently"suggested" first-night field trips (that didn't come to fruition), developed the "standup and dance" rally technique ("let's go hockey bitches!"), won more than 10% of the NHL Hitz fights he faced, didn't nurse a girly drink all weekend, slept on the floor and definitely put away his share of the approximately 180 beers that were consumed (who needs two more cases?). The rookie definitely took home MVP honors. Nice work!

March 9, 2004 - Nature's Engineers (nominated by Craig)
Trina flexed her muscle and made our opponents look foolish. With a perfect serving percentage, great sets, pin point passing and most importantly her ability to find holes in their defense, she put the fun back into volleyball. Everyone played great but Trina had something special tonight.

February 11, 2004 - Evil Petting Zoo
Let's hope not, but tonight may have been Bic and Ian's last broomball games as local EPZ team members. Bic definitely left nothing to spare, bringing probably her best defensive game ever as she stopped, blocked, halted, dead-tracked and prevented more offensive breaks by our opponents than I can remember. Beautiful. Ian, who everyone knows is our offensive star, ran the entire floor tonight in hopes of willing us on to victory. He's been a great player, a great captain, a great leader and the force behind this team. It would have been nice to give him Parade. You'll both be missed dearly. Remember, we'll always have an opening at left-back D and center-forward waiting for you next winter. Keep your sticks ready.

January 24, 2004 - EPZ - St. Paul Winter Carnival Tournament
Many played tough, all-out hustle games, but Craig and Todd stepped it up on Day 1 of the 2004 St. Paul Winter Carnival Tournament. Craig scored three straight goals including our only goal in Game 1 and the first two goals (including the winner) in Game 2. Todd was unbeatable in net in Game 2, stopping a barrage of point blanks and even bodying a couple of opposing forwards "thug style" in earning what has to be one of our very few tournament shutouts. Big O, Tough D... that's a tough combo to beat. Well done boys.

November 5, 2003 - Pancakes Co-Rec Touch Football
The Cakes overcame a 26-0 half-time deficit (won 27-26) in the league semifinals to advance to the championship. Two seconds left.. and we win it on the tip play. Unbelievable!

October 11-12, 2003 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball - BeBop's Tournament
Probably says something about his consistency that I didn't even notice it until I saw the numbers, but Mark went 12 for 13 (.923 average) while leading or tying for the lead in 10 of the 12 offensive categories (I guess you don't get many sacrifices when you don't get out). Possibly more impressive (on a relative basis) was Grant's .800 tournament average. Other big bats included Tschak (.750) and Keith (.667).

September 29, 2003 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball (nominated by Mark)
Lee rocked the Casba. He went 6-6 with 6 runs on the night and hit for the cycle in the first game. He wound up leading or tied for the lead in six offensive categories. MVP! MVP!
As a team, we finished with a .527 average with five guys at or above .600. Nice season...

September 22, 2003 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball (nominated by Mark)
Lee has got to be the superstar this week going 5-7 with 4 HRs (has that ever happened before?). Look at the year-to-date statistics as well - he has 26 runs, 11 more than anyone else. Crazy.

August 25, 2003 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball
The Seeds bats were EN FUEGO (.571 team average)! Many a batter put up some impressive numbers... including perfect nights from Tobs, Grant and Sukhi and Lee and Till going five for six. The crème though was couple of monster bombs by Mark (and a triple off the fence). Still, my personal favorite was D's all out diving, sprawling, send his glasses flinging grab in center field. That was some serious horizontal air. Pretty.

July 16, 2003 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball (nominated by Mark)
I nominate Suki for Superstar Performer of the Week after his stat line last night: 7-8, 3 triples, a corked-bat distance grand slam, and 6 runs scored in leading the Seeds to a convincing sweep of the least liked team in recent memory. All this just days after blocking a volleyball spike with his glasses. Impressive indeed. (GOTW would also like to add that D went 6 for 6 to finish off the best batting season in this Hogger team's history (.743 average)).

June 25, 2003 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball
D continued his hot, hot, hot hitting streak by going seven for eight while hitting for the cycle in a rain storm. Does anyone else feel like he might never get out? Keith also re-earned his "Stretch" nickname with an amazing diving grab down the line at first base to end the game and squelch any comeback chances by our opponent. Possibly the all-time Hogger web gem.

June 23, 2003 - Pancakes Football
Lost in the flaring tempers and phantom penalties of the championship game were two huge, momentum changing, spirit crushing, run from the bench cheering interceptions in our own endzone by Craig that changed the game. Congrats to the Pancakes on their undefeated season.

May 29, 2003 - Has Beens Softball (definitely not nominated by Dan)
Game 1 - Rainbow 4 for 4. Including, bottom of seventh, one out, bases loaded, tie game, after Tschak is intentionally walked to load the bases. Lofted a fly to the outfield over the drawn in fielders to protect against the bloop to win the game. Oh, the glory of the game winning hit. Rainbow at his finest.

May 28, 2003 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball
Without really anybody noticing, Deibert put together a clean 7 for 7 night including a double and two triples. The first perfect on base night of the season. It only took him four weeks, but Mark's right where he left off (pre San Fran days)... at the top of the charts. Welcome back. We missed you.

May 21, 2003 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball (nominatd by Craig)
I NOMINATE THE SUK DOG FOR HIS PERFORMANCE AT THE PLATE. HE HIT A SOFTBALL 330' AND JUST RAN AS THOUGH HE HAD TO DIG IT OUT. THE EXCITEMENT WAS TEMPORARILY DEFLATED WHEN THE UMP THOUGHT IT BOUNCED OVER THE FENCE AND RULED IT A DOUBLE. HE SAID AFTER THE GAME IT WAS TOO FAR TO SEE (HE WAS 70ISH). OUR LEADOFF GUY HITS 330 FEET. WHAT THE HECK?

May 14, 2003 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Softball
Unfortunate, but tonight's Superstars will have to share the spotlight since many a boy brought a big stick this evening. Overall, nine of the eleven sluggers hit .500 or better. That's got to be a first. Highlights include Schlich hitting for the cycle (with an opposite field dinger), Keith (second Superstar performance of the week) going 7 for 8 and Grant hitting (a debated) 7.5 for 8. Overlooked in this offensive barrage was some sweet D from Tobs (ranging back) and Mark (diving grabs).

May 12, 2003 - Pancakes Football
Outdoing even Brittany Spears, Pancakes football routed another team to start the season 3-0. Kudos to all, but a few earned Superstar status. First, Keith used his big paws to get not one... not two... but three knock downs (the third shot of which he called prior... Babe Ruth style). Next, newcomer (well, new the second time) Jessi Nikko busted the game open grabbing our first two scores of the day on some big yardage pass plays. Finally, Megastar status to Billy D (the D is for defense), who had maybe his best game to date... four touchdowns including two picks for TDs. Yikes!

January & February 2003 - EPZ Broomball
Big time cheers to Ian Gilby as he wins Superstar Performer of the Season. Maybe it's taken for granted because he's so good (and has always been so good) and makes it looks so easy, but you can literally cut EPZ's goal total in half without him. He's the offensive spark that every squad needs, and perhaps the only true goal scorer on the team. Physical attributes aside (read into that as you may), he also captained us through a season full of scheduling and personnel challenges. His thesis may suffer, but we're all the better because of it. Well done. It's safe (and honest) to say that without Ian, this team folds years ago. Thanks.

February 6, 2003 - EPZ Broomball, Minneapolis A Broomball Playoffs
Although a deluge of broomballers deserve their kudos after this game, Leif Hembre stood taller (or should I saw "longer"... when stretched out in front of the goal) than anyone else. He definitely had a superfluity of great saves, but never before has one play so made someone deserving of Superstar Performer status. A sprawling, stretching, recovering, diving save across the face of the net that had you glad that he didn't cut his finger nails that day. Really had to see it to believe... but it was spectacular... and crucial in helping EPZ to their first Minneapolis A tournament win ever.

January 25, 2003 - EPZ Broomball, St. Paul Winter Carnival (nominated by Ian)
Another week, another sport...At the risk of making Pat's head explode, I'm nominating him for the second Superstar of the Week award in a row. His performance in net on Saturday night was one of the most amazing displays of athleticism I've ever seen. He made some incredible clutch saves, and usually had the rebound cleared before the ball even touched the ground. He was the biggest factor in our hard-fought tie against a bigger and better team. Nice job, Pat!

January 7, 2003 - Gang Green Winter Volleyball (nominated by Bic)
As if his head wasn't big enough...But seriously, Pat was amazing on the volleyball court this week. Sure, the whole team played well, but in all of the years I've played with Big Head Pat, I don't remember a volleyball game in which his game was so on--Especially the hits and net play. It could've been the red socks, but Pat was awesome this week.

January 5, 2003 - EPZ Broomball
Her first goal ever! Stephanie Schlichting starts the season out right with a top shelf blast. For the number geeks, this lifts her goal per game average to a team-leading 1.000.

December 31, 2002 - CCNSI.com
How can you not fear Gang Green right now, with that quarterback playing like a young Montana?

October 19, 2002 - Pick-Up Football at Kenwood Park
Pick-up or not, Bill Nielsen and Steph Schlichting came to play! These two easily led the rest of the pack in catches, yards, passes defensed, highlight material and the number of times they left a defenders saying "crap!" They also were tops in torn pants, donuts consumed, Teen Wolfs (yes, it's a verb) and cutting off oncoming traffic.

October 15, 2002 - Gang Green Fall Volleyball (nominated by Craig)
Leah Isaacson came into our first game actually looking like she played the game a few times. Yeah you can’t expect to enter a new season rolling right where you left off 6 months ago (3 years for Keith). I think she deserves player of the week honors just for being on a team of chumps and not getting completely frustrated. We’ve all been there, where you’re the best player on the team and the rest of the gang doesn’t appear to be catching up.

September 29, 2002 - X-Box at the Bachelor Pad (too geeky?)
FUSION FRENZY! Keith "the real Sampson" Bias finally broke the century mark (104, to be exact) in the Twisted System (also known as Jump & Duck). Better yet, he fortunately ended what was inevitably going to be an all-night affair.

September 29, 2002 - Twin Cites 10 Mile Run
Michelle (who bolted ahead and wiped out 15 minutes) and Julie chugged through the TC10 without breaking a sweat (Pat tagged along too).

September 23, 2002 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Fall Softball
Fun night with some sweet bats. Craig hit two dingers. Lee went 6 for 7 with 13 total bases. Jeff reached base five times (and had some sweet catches). Grant had five hits (including a dinger). Tobs, Tschak and Till also had five hits.

September 19, 2002 - Pancakes Fall Football
In his first game back, newly reacquired (yes, a bit redundant) Mark Deibert used his strong arm (and wisely didn't use his tweaked knee) to QB the Cakes to a second-straight victory. Billy topped the night with a sweet endzone sideline catch ("that was the best thing that's happened to me in quite a while" - Bill).

September 16, 2002 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Fall Softball
Squinting through a swollen forehead, Lee Teapot (I really don't know his last name) sparked a dead Hoggers team with a grand slam shot to capture the lead. Also, called up from the baby-raising circuit, Shon Schulte dinged two homers, including a walk-off to end game two (it's not exactly what you think).

August 26, 2002 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Fall Softball
Maybe I should just start copying and pasting in his name because this guy never ceases to amaze. Mr. September (Schlichting) kept it rolling with a walk-off homerun in the bottom of the seventh. Let me tell you, there's not many better ways to win a game. Lee also added two monster dingers. Dar found Vad's bracelet.

August 24, 2002 - Madison Four-on-Four Flag Football Tournament
If we had a performer of the year, this would take the title. As other literally collapsed to the ground (exhaustion, injuries), Craig Schlichting continued to lead the offense and defense with unbelievable energy and tenacity. He was an animal out there. Stats won't do it justice. You had to see it to believe it. The guy just never quit. (click here for a pic)

August 19, 2002 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Fall Softball
Mark Deibert picked-up where he left off hitting a dinger in his Hoggsbreath return. Course, nobody could compare to Mr. Fall, Craig Schlichting, who reached base 8 out of 9 times (with two triples) to kick-start the fall season.

August 8, 2002 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Summer Softball
Andrew "Tool Time" Tillman closed out the summer season by tossing a shut-out (7 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, 0 ER, 1 K). The win put us above .500 for the first time all season.

July 24, 2002 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Summer Softball
Rainbow's found his pot of gold. Dan Winslow has been hot, hot, hot at the plate as of late with 10 hits in his last 13 at bats (.769 average). He also tallied his first extra base hit (a double) as a Hogger. Not to steal his thunder, but Vad also hit two dingers in the same inning. Can't remember that ever happening.

July 21, 2002 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Summer Softball
Suks ended his streak of reaching base in 12 straight plate appearances (11 hits, one walk).

July 4, 2002 - 9-Square (Sukhum's Driveway)
Using a mixture of delicate touch, pinpoint accuracy and not drawing any attention to himself whatsoever... "Silent" Steve Thiel worked his way to the king of the court, and maintained his reign, more than any other squarers in the latest game sweeping the geeks network (pictures).

June 22, 2002 - Grandma's Marathon
Congatulations to Steph Schlichting, Craig Schlichting, Bob Montgomery, Bob's Dad, Annie Feidt, Darcey Lapic, Noah Wenz, Sean Stucke, Kathy Wilson, Dave Buhl, Stacy Downs, Denny Downs, Shelly Clifford and Brian on your glorious runs (and finishes) of Grandma's Marathon (picture).

June 19, 2002 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Summer Softball
We've got an offensive and a defensive star for you this week. Riding the range, quick glove and sidearm sling of Doug (Sub?) Tobin, the Seeds pitched their first shutout in a very long time (very long time). At the plate, Mike Vad ever-so quietly put together a 5-6 night with four singles and a dinger (and the guy's graduating Sunday... top that!). Congrats! Enjoy your free steaks at Ruth Chris!

June 12, 2002 - Hoggsbreath Seeds Summer Softball
Ba-Boom! No doubt about it... that ball is gone. Keith "Stretch/Scoop" Bias crushed his first fence-clearing homer. He played a pretty good glove over at first as well. And heck, no shoulder pain. Who's ready to shag the next one?

An example would be Bill's self-nomination...
If you consider that last week I executed 7 consecutive no-handed cartwheels, learned how to do ride a unicycle and walked across a tightrope on my hands, it's obvious that my performance was better than anyone else's. I should be the Athlete of the Week!!!
