July 27	12:45	Field	0-0-1	We played a very good game last weekend, and somehow ended up giving our opponents an early Christmas present with a 3-3 tie. We played shorthanded except for a brief period when we had a cameo appearance from the lovely and talented Vi, and we still outplayed the Mad Dogs for most of the game. We were up 2-0 but let them back in it, after having several great chances that we blew by shooting wide, over the top, off the post, etc. Great passing and team play though. Way to go, Clowns!
Aug. 3	9:30	Field D	0-1-1	Well we lost this past weekend 0-3, though the game was closer than it sounds. We've been playing pretty well lately, but the other teams have been able to captilize on their opportunities. Oh well!
Aug. 10	11:40	Field C	1-1-1	Congratulations on a very good game and a 3-0 victory on Saturday! Fun to win one so decisively!
Aug. 17	12:45	Field F	2-1-1	Congratulations on a very good game and a 3-2 victory on Saturday! We're on a roll - the team we beat was previously undefeated. We so rock!
Aug. 24	11:40	Field D	3-1-1	I hope you all enjoyed the holiday weekend! I had thought that our game two weekends ago ended in a 1-1 tie, though the web site says we won 2-1 (we did). Was I smoking something?
Sept. 7	12:45	Field E	4-1-1	Congratulations on another good game this past weekend! We won 2-1, and are now tied for second place in our league! Very cool - way to go, Clowns!
Sept. 14	9:30	Field C	4-2-1	Well we played a good team on Saturday, and despite playing pretty decently, we lost 3-1. But, we are still tied for second place in our league (now a four-way tie)! Way to go, Clowns!
Sept. 21	9:00	Field	4-3-1	.Well we played very well this past Saturday, but ended up losing a heart breaker 0-1. I was very pleased with our play though - I thought we played very well as a team, with very good ball movement, passing, and involvement of all of our players. Way to go, Clowns - we'll get 'em next time!
Sept. 28	10:35	Field B	4-4-1	Well we played very well again this past Saturday, but ended up losing another heart breaker, in a shootout. After outplaying the other team and just missing on several good chances, we played to a 1-1 tie, but then we got beat by one goal in the shootout. Again I was very pleased with our play though - our team play has improved a lot in the last couple of games - way to go, Clowns! Congratulations on a good season!
