Slow start with a small squad, but overall played pretty well against a team where only half their guys had shoes. Oh well. Good to be back on the ice. Lots of goals by lots of people.

New snowfall made it very slick. Swords and John each had a couple goals...I think.

Jumped out by two and then gave up three unanswered goals. Scored the tieing goal with under a minute to go. Pretty sweet. Couple goals by John and one by Dan. Great save by Steve as well. Nice to have him back.

I missed the game tonight. Sounds like we had a tie. (from John) Actually we should have destroyed them! We all played so well, except that all important putting the ball in the net thing. Dan with his 2 goals off the post and Matty with his pass that deflected in is all we could manage. I put one off the crossbar and missed a wide-open goal, twice, to go ahead by 2 with about 5 minutes left when I couldn't get the ball up. If we move the ball and play like that going forward, (with maybe 1 or 2 bounces going our way) we should have no problem with any team in the league. Thanks Eric for the bringing the reinforcements! Great work, we dominated.

Jumped out to another early lead and then ended with a tie. Three weeks in a row. Sticky ice tonight. Good hustle all-around (well, until maybe the end where we slowed a bit).

I missed this one too. No idea what happened, but looks like a pretty impressive victory.

We had a strong team for our opening round game of the tournament, including subs Todd and Steve, and earned our first playoff win in three seasons. We were a big ragtag for the second game with only two subs and ran into a pretty strong opponent.

2-2
The ties continue. Had our chances to win, but we did come back from 0-2 and survived Johnny forgetting his shoes.

Year-end tournament will be the weekend of Feb. 5-7 and Feb 12-13.

League fees are $36. Paid: Peter, Matt, Josh, John, Eric, Reed and Dan.
