Another season of ULTRA broomball is under way. And well, as Dylan says, it takes us a game to come together. Although, it was pretty sweet when we tied the game at 1-1. That's it for your highlights.

The score doesn't indicate so... but we actually played quite a bit better tonight. Still working on our spacing and patience... but at this rate of progress... we'll be unstoppabe by season's end... or at least by season's end 2013.

Where did that team come from? It looked like a pick-up game. Two of their guys didn't even have shoes. Nice to get a win and move the ball around, but it would be nice to play a team that doesn't beat us or lose to us by more than five. Maybe Saturday.

(Saturday make-up from 1/15) Well, the score, again, didn't feel indicative of the game. Seemed like our best outing and our most competitive game. Good spacing on our part. First half felt close and we had a number of scoring chances. We got tired in the second half (only one sub), but still played well. It was very nice to have John, and a number of his scoring runs, back on the ice.

Heard we lost to some team wearing Subway jerseys. That's all I know.

Not even John's hat trick (yup, he scored all our goals) could get us a win in the first round of the end of the year playoffs. We had it tied up at threes, but couldn't hold off a good shooting team. Probably our most competitive game yet and definitely improvement for next year. Thanks boys!
